Of course, Hart did not really engage in the dark behavior depicted by his character in this series, The Kid, but he did note how difficult it would be for someone in his situation to resist the temptation to flout the law and conduct badly in general.
The Kid’s demanding and fast-paced routine is comparable to Hart’s, who professes to have perfected multitasking and can do a staggering number of “mind-blowing” things simultaneously.
In contrast to the tense and complicated relationships seen between the Kid & his brother, Carlton, he also has an older brother in real life named Robert. However, the two of them are quite close.
The series’ secrets and bizarre plotlines are all resolved in the last episode thanks to a large number of dead corpses.
When confronted by the goons, Carlton admits to planning Daphne’s apparent “death” in order to demand money.

To make it seem to the authorities that Carlton was murdered by the thugs and that he shot them in self-defense before escaping, Kid concealed a pistol on him and shot both of them. After these three men died, Kid was the only one left with the truth, but Herschel overheard him and blackmailed him for six million dollars.
Kid gets the money from the deal for his forthcoming movie, and the series finishes with him delivering the same speech he did at the beginning of the first episode.
The seven episodes of the limited-run television series True Story conclude the whole plot, leaving no unresolved issues for the audience.
But given how well-received the show has been, perhaps Netflix can make an exemption and renew the pilot episode for an additional season so that we might learn more about the Kid’s earlier transgressions.
However, neither Kevin Hart nor the show’s creators have made any statements about the possibility of a second season.
Even though there’s has been no word on the show’s future, given typical filming schedules, we shouldn’t expect its theatrical debut to be earlier than 2023 if fan support can bring it back.
