We saw an exciting fight between Ataru Moroboshi & Lum, the daughter of the extraterrestrial Oni commander who was conquering Earth, in the initial season of Urusei Yatsura. Ataru had ten days to outwit Lum in an individual game of tag, and the destiny of Earth was at stake. Lum had otherworldly abilities, however, so the task seemed insurmountable.
Despite the difficulties, Ataru was able to surprise Lum and seize her horns. But when Lum chose to relocate in with Ataru because she mistook his intentions, things took a surprise turn. Ataru now has to contend with the clinging Lum while attempting to woo Shinobu Miyake, a childhood friend, back.
