After having their early career plans foiled by Dragon Bank, two young men one a technological genius and the other a charming but self-absorbed entrepreneur start their own business with the apparently unattainable goal of creating a trillion-dollar enterprise.

Netflix has taken up the live-action series Trillion Game, which is based on the Japanese manga. Many are eagerly anticipating Season 2 of Trillion Game because of its popularity. Will there be one, though? That is the major question.

In 2023, on October 21st, the program premiered on Netflix. The sitcom first aired on TBS, a Japanese TV network, before that. From July 14, 2023, until September 15, 2023, the program was shown.

Trillion Game Season 2 Storyline:

Haru and Gaku, two young men who started the massive corporation Trillion Game, were the first Japanese to make it into the top ten of The World’s Billionaires this century.

The tale is told from Gaku’s point of view, as he reflects on his journey up to this point, including his first meeting with Haru, the founding of Trillion Game, all the individuals who contributed to the company’s success.

Having said that, future episodes will most certainly include plot points from subsequent volumes of the manga. The plot of the program might expand to include the events in the second volume of the manga if it is renewed for a second season.

But there is no English translation of the manga as yet. This comes as a complete shock, given the manga’s phenomenal popularity in Japan.

The writings of Riichiro Inagaki & Ryochi Ikigami, the writers of Dr. Stone, serve as the basis for the Trillion Game manga series. Two protagonists, the charming businessman Haru and the socially awkward computer engineer Gaku, have the lofty aim of becoming trillionaires. This desire serves as the plot’s central focus.

Starting July 14 and running through September 15, the Murao Yoshiaki–directed, Habara Daisuke–written, and Matsumoto Akiko–, Matsushita Hiromi–, and Kato Shoichi–produced TBS sitcom aired weekly in primetime evening slots.

The lovable yet cunning protagonist, Haru Tennoji, is played by Meguro Ren of the Japanese pop trio Snowman. His nerdy sidekick Gaku is played by Sano Hayato of TBS and the Disney+ anime “Tokyo MER.” An attractive heiress of Dragon Bank wants to enlist Haru & Gaku after seeing their abilities; Imada Mio (“Tokyo Revengers,” “As Long as We All Shall Live”) portrays Kokuryu Kirika.

As the bank’s chief executive officer, Kunimura Jun (“Kill Bill,” “Minamata,” “Audition”), a seasoned actor, plays a pivotal part as well. TBS and Netflix first entered into a program supply arrangement in October 2021, which was two years ago.

Reality program “The Future Diary,” drama series “Let’s Get Divorced,” and drama series “Japan Sinks: People of Hope” were the first titles given under the contract.

TBS’s expansion into worldwide markets is a goal in and of itself. “We are excited about expanding our reach to people all over the globe and solidifying our standing in the global product market,” said Yayoi Nakatani, president of TBS’s DX Business Division, upon the original deal’s announcement.

Tennoji Haru is the protagonist of this fascinating drama. His communication skills have made him famous, and people constantly seem to put their faith in him to make things better.

Everyone loves Haru, and his upbeat attitude keeps the mood lively no matter where he goes. The general public views him as a calm and collected person, but you wouldn’t believe it! Aside from that, he does have some reasonable objectives! He needs to establish his reputation, so he can do whatever it takes to succeed.

But he didn’t give a hoot when “Dragon Bank,” the biggest tech company in the country, gave him a solid job. His goal is to become well-known, but he refuses to do it via any well-known business organization.

So, meet Taira Manabu, Haru’s closest buddy from the beginning of the narrative! A company with the exclusive goal of amassing $1 trillion in revenue was considered by them. The biggest problem, however, is that they still haven’t settled on a solid strategy!

How this couple manages to establish their own business with zero funding and zero experience in the startup world is going to be fascinating to watch. We must not forget that Taira is an outstanding engineer, but his social skills might need some work.

Among the many reasons he was rejected by the Dragon Bank for employment was this. Now that he’s has a new goal in mind, however, he is prepared to lend Haru a hand and help establish the course for their newest venture.
