Her father is a well-known musician from Colombia. Lupe encounters Noah, her father’s assistant, as she is attending her father’s funeral in the Colombian city of Cartagena. Young Noah is a mysterious young man.

Lupe wants to go back to Mexico, but she stays in Colombia because she thinks her father’s death wasn’t a random killing. Nobody there is worthy of her confidence. Lupe had to go to a singing contest and face her phobias in order to solve the mystery of her father’s death.

Along Lupe’s journey, there are many intriguing and musically beautiful things that happen. Now that Lupe has found love, her life is complete. Even Noah is not a person in whom she can have trust. That was her rescuer, she realized. She will discover a secret in the Caribbean.
