Tonight on Cielo starting at 9.15 pm it will be back on the air Conan the barbarian, 2011 action fantasy directed by Marcus Nispel starring Jason Momoa, the superstar of Game of Thrones, Aquaman e Justice League.
The actor inherited the character from the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger, who as many of you know played Conan in two films now considered cult as Conan the barbarian e Conan the destroyer, released respectively in 1982 and 1984 under the direction of John Milius and Richard Fleischer. But what does the star think of Terminator about the remake?
This was revealed by Momoa, who in a promotional interview released at the time of the film's release said: "I've never met Arnold Schwarzenegger in person, but I heard he saw our Conan. A small private screening was organized with producer Avi Lerner, and I felt he liked it. He said I did a good job and it made me proud".
Among other things for this film ad Arnold Schwarzenegger was offered the role of Corin, Conan's father, but the star refused. The work did not do well at the box office, grossing about 63 million dollars against a budget of 90 million, and for this the idea of a sequel was abounded. However, this year Netflix announced a TV series about Conan the Barbarian, and who knows that Schwarzenegger cannot find space: after all, it was the actor himself, a few weeks before the announcement of the streaming giant, to talk about the possibility that Conan became a series for Netflix.
