Cars On The Road Season 2 Storyline:

After conquering Jackson Storm, Mater tells his buddies in Radiator Springs that he would be departing for his sister Mato’s wedding for a few days.
He accepts Lightning McQueen’s invitation to travel with him, & the two set off towards the wedding together. The two make a visit to a dinosaur museum on Lightning’s urging, where Mater is alarmed by the dinosaur sculptures.
As Mater drifts off to sleep, he and Lightning are besieged by dinosaurs while acting like cavemen. He subsequently awakens, having overcome his fear as a result of his dream, and leaves the park with Lightening.
Lightning & Mater arrive to a frightening motel as a storm approaches, where a shady receptionist welcomes them. Mater claims to be afraid of the hotel, although McQueen reassures him that he need not worry.
Lightning explores the motel that night while Mater is fast sleeping, encounters various spirits, and by dawn, he has fled in terror. A ghost mocks the camera as the pair exit the motel.
Land speed racers are encountered as Lightning and Mater arrive at the salt flats. Mater is taken by a pair of mechanics, who then give him boosters. Mater continues to sprint, gaining ground as he goes, much to Lightning’s dismay.
The boosters abruptly fail, and Mater is propelled into the air. He encounters the soul of the Speed Demon, a car-ified version of the the Grim Reaper, and has an out-of-chassis experience.
Mater comes back to his body with his hook to stop the accident. Due to the records Mater established, as well as Lightning, are being pelted by other vehicles, which causes them to depart the scene.
Mater encounters a team of detectives looking for “Bigfoot” while sleeping on a mountain after hearing reports of sightings there. Lightning and Mater accompany the gang on their hunt when Mater accepts their invitation to join them on their behalf.
When he realizes that the alleged “Bigfoot” is really Ivy, a monster truck who fled to the mountains because she felt uncomfortable performing by slamming automobiles, he rescues Lightning from the hut where he was held captive by ropes.
When Mater discovers them in Ivy’s hut, the two decide to frighten away the investigators by acting like aliens. Ivy travels with the pair on their road excursion the next morning.
How Many Episodes Will There Be In Cars On The Road Season 2?
Nine episodes made up the whole first season. Although we don’t yet know, it’s feasible that the following season will have the same number of episodes.
