Many big films are ready, but theaters are not available to release them. In such a situation, there is talk of many big films being released on OTT. These films also include Ranveer Singh starrer '83'. However, now its makers have told that the film will be released in theaters only.
Speaking to news agency PTI, Reliance Entertainment CEO Shivashish Sarkar said - 'There is no truth in this. Producers and even directors are waiting for some time to agree to release the film in theaters. If things get worse in the coming 6 months or 9 months, then we will take a decision on this. Nobody is in a hurry. Everyone has shown interest in this project. But we are not directly involved in any discussion regarding digitally release. We will wait for four to six months now, after which we will take a decision.
Apart from this, the government said that the film is not yet ready. It has VFX and some post production work on it. At the same time, he also said about Akshay Kumar starrer Suryavanshi that we will take a decision on this only after three months. We will wait for the lockdown to open. Significantly, there was news recently that six big films may be released on Netflix soon. Since then, the discussion about these films had increased.

Let us tell you that Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif starrer Suryavanshi was to be released on March 24. At the same time, April 10 was set for Kabir Khan-directed 83. But the release of films was postponed as soon as theaters closed before the lockdown.
