Bad Things 2 Storyline:
Ruthie, a young inheritor of her grandmother’s charming but mysterious hotel, is the protagonist of our fictional filmic story. Ruthie creates a fresh chapter in her life’s narrative as she is about to turn the business on to new management. She makes a decision to embrace her lineage for a few days, asking her closest friends to partake in this little chapter.
A memorable adventure was put in motion by days of relaxation and evenings that were brightened by laughing and shared secrets. However, as the sun begins to set, a spooky wind transports echoes of the past a history that is far from being put to rest.
What starts out as a week of celebration quickly takes an unexpected turn and develops into a terrifying symphony of horror. The passageways are filled with unearthly echoes that serve as a melancholy reminder of the ghostly visitors that have not yet left. As they struggle, the lighthearted atmosphere disintegrates and the stakes rise.
While the possibility of Bad Things 2 still exists, it is only a glimmer of an idea floating in the creativity ether. The sequel may explore into a tapestry where the ghostly and the living interweave, crossing moments with tendrils of the unknown, should the stars align and its production be predestined.

I wanted to defy social expectations of what mother and child should be by portraying them as epic, terrifying, and active healers rather than delicate, loving, passive ones. This initial primordial relationship and how hazy and complicated it might be is being celebrated.
especially one that is unrequited. The narrative takes place in the Comley Hotel, a location where horrible things are done by women. We see women doing horrible things rather than seeing bad things done to women. I wanted to provide a place where this could be investigated. a place apart from the world ruled by men.
The hotel is clearly feminine all mauve & brass with a blood-red and milky undertone and has been visited by the spirits of women who fell prey to its charm.
Where are all the female Jack Torrances and Travis Bickles? Ruthie Nodd offers Bad Things’ response to it. If The Shining let out a self-righteous patriarchal monster, Bad Things would lash out in fury. Let your fury rule.
Although I haven’t watched Lyle, I find Bad Things to be intriguing. I’ll definitely look it up on Shudder. And I was thrilled to get a brief glimpse of a chainsaw in the Bad Things teaser because I generally identify August 18th with among my favorite films, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
