Despite his fate in Black Panther, many fans are wondering if the Killmonger at Michael B. Jordan will find space in the future of the MCU, one of the most popular villains of the saga to date. Interviewed by SXM, his interpreter Michael B. Jordan took a stand on the issue.
When the interviewer asked him how likely the character is to make an appearance in the Black Panther sequel on a scale of 1 to 10, the Creed star is replied with a “solid 2”.
“I didn’t go for 0 because you know, never say never, I can’t predict the future. All I know is that they are developing a script that is a reflection of the circumstances and the tragedy we faced last year,” Jordan explained, obviously referring to the death of the protagonist Chadwick Boseman, who passed away last August after a long fight against cancer.
Meanwhile, Marvel Studios and director Ryan Coogler are continuing to work on Black panther 2 pre-production, which is set to shoot in the next few months in Georgia under the working title “Summer Break”. We remind you that the release of the film, the plot of which is still kept under wraps, is set for 8 July 2022.
