The season of film awards is approaching and, with this, the absence of Chadwick Boseman becomes increasingly heavy: the star of Black Panther has left an important void in the Marvel universe and in the world of cinema in general, so it is reasonable to expect more than one homage during the various scheduled ceremonies.
The Gotham Awards will lead the way next January: during the award ceremony dedicated to independent cinema, in fact, a homage to Chadwick Boseman and his Black Panther co-star Viola Davis.
"Chadwick Boseman was an incredibly talented actor whose big screen impact and kindness and kindness generosity in life everyday will never be forgotten. We at IFP will always be indebted to him for his contribution to our organization, we are proud to honor him and his historic, revolutionary contributions with this tribute"said the executive director of IFP Jeffrey Sharp.
A tribute that, we are sure, will be the first of a long process: the wait, of course, is aimed in particular at the next Oscars. Letitia Wrightmeanwhile, he recently admitted that he still can't accept the idea of a re-casting for Black Panther; also with regard to the sequel to the Marvel film, the presence of Rihanna in the cast of Black Panther 2 was also denied.
