The first marriage didn’t last long because Severide’s best friend Casey came up with a plan when the wedding venue fell through at the last minute. He discovered a boat captain to marry the pair on a boat.
The big cliffhanger happened when several trucks pulled up to the cabin in which the newlyweds were going to spend their first night together. These were probably the risky drug dealers who had a grudge against Severide.
We’ll have to wait until the show comes back for season 11 to find out what happens, but it’s feasible that it will pick right up in which season 10 left off now and show Stellaride dealing with the situation, or it could start with what happens after that. Kinney said, “I don’t know about kids, but I’m excited,” when asked about the newlyweds’ long term and whether they might start a family. This could mean, at the very least, that death was not in the cards.
Kinney said the following about new episodes in general “I never forget how special it feels to be a part about something that has been around for so long.”
“It’s a credit to [show creator] Dick Wolf and the group of people he puts together.” Just don’t expect any big crossover occurrences this year because of the pandemic.
Showrunner Derek Haas told Looper, “We’re definitely to do a lot of a smaller crossovers with characters.” “At first, our protagonists are on Chicago Med, and then they switch to another show. Some of the people from Chicago P.D. are on our show.
“We haven’t been able to carry out the big crossovers because of the COVID protocol. Things get really hard. We are hoping to organize one, but we haven’t got any planned as of right now. Everyone always has this in mind as they plan their next steps. We talk about it all the time.”
“As authors, we strive to figure out a way to set Mouch’s wife, Trudy Platt, on Fire whenever we can,” said Andrea Newman, who runs the show.
“Yes, we really like her.” “We love her, so she’s already been in a lot of episodes this season,” Newman said.
