Chicago P.D. Season 10 Storyline:
In the suspenseful ninth season finale, fans watched Voight determined to defeat Escano & the Los Temidos cartel group while also making every effort to save Anna.
Escano, however, turned rogue when he realized the cops were tailing him. Anna stabbed Escano in his bakery despite Voight’s promises that he would shield her and her kid from harm.
Later, Voight and Halstead located Escano, who confessed to stabbing him with his final breath. As a result, Voight went “off the record” to locate Anna after engaging in criminal activity to conceal her crime.
When Voight ultimately met a nervous Anna who was concerned about the repercussions of her conduct, she accidently shot him when she aimed a revolver at him out of fear after hearing a police siren. Halstead and Upton fired at her in response, returning fire.
Voight, who was understandably distraught, accompanied Anna to the hospital in the ambulance. However, she realized it had been too late as she spoke her last words, “I’m sorry.”
Unfortunately, NBC is now tightly keeping season 10 under wraps. But it seems that Voight and the cast will deal with Anna’s death’s consequences and disclose what this could imply for Voight, both emotionally and professionally, following the season-nine conclusion.
Hawkins (Atwater) discussed Voight’s character evolution so far and what it could imply for him in season 10 while chatting to Entertainment Weekly.
I recognize that occasionally boundaries must be breached, Hawkins said. “I also realize that certain lines cannot be crossed indefinitely.
“I’ve seen Voight’s development, particularly in regards to specific circumstances and the physicality of his approach, now that I’m forced to stand by while he has a severe mental and spiritual collapse.
Voight is still a somebody I respect and like, win or lose. “And I’ll be looking toward unraveling more reasons why Atwater still respects and admires Voight,” he said.
For the time being, Chicago P.D. season 10’s plot specifics are being kept a secret, however according to NBC, this is the general idea of the program:
The men and women of the Chicago Police Department’s elite Intel Unit fight against the most horrific crimes committed in the city, including organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders, and more, in the gripping police drama Chicago P.D.
Sgt. Hank Voight, who is at ground zero in Chicago’s fight against crime, is at the heart of the Chicago Police Department.
He will essentially do whatever to prosecute criminals. With a new commander who has assisted him and the unit in adjusting to a new reality, Voight has worked diligently over the last year to convert over a new leaf.
Another program called Chicago Fire is connected to Chicago P.D. Detective Sergeant Hank Voight is in charge of the department’s intelligence branch and a squad of patrol officers in the imaginary 21st district.
When Officer Kevin Atwater and Officer Kim Burgess join the team, the emphasis shifts from the patrol and intelligence officers to the intelligence unit.
The most recent episode finished on a cliffhanger, leaving it unclear if Upton had been hurt. Even though Voight wants Anna Avalos to join, it appears difficult given that he discovers that she withheld certain facts from her.
She still wants to capture Escano. When he goes looking for Escano, he finds him shot to death in his bakery.
Voight now has to issue an arrest warrant for the person he respected the most after Escano claims that Anna stabbed him when he was on the verge of death.
While he is attempting to protect her, Anna realizes she no longer trusts him and leaves the perimeter.
There is no need to panic since the program is still airing and you can learn anything by watching the newest season, despite the fact that the creators have not yet provided much information about the current season’s plot.
