Concerns were raised over whether or not the new squad, comprised of dancers flown in from various studios around the nation, could measure up to the established group on the ALDC.

Dance Moms Season 9 Storyline:
The series “Dance Moms” takes place inside the Abby Lee Dance Company & follows the company’s Junior Elite Competition Group as they compete in dance contests all across the country.
Each episode follows them as they compete for prestigious honors and gear up for the Nationals. Miller, in the meanwhile, teaches students the skills they need to become “professional, employable working dancers.”
The accompanying mothers, who have their own rivalry and fights over their daughters, are also featured prominently in the story. Miller is sometimes dragged into their furious exchanges.
