Digimon Adventure 02 Storyline:
The Digimon Emperor invades the Digital World four years after the events of Digimon Adventure. He is enslaving Digimon with the Dark Ring and constructing Control Spires to prevent Digivolution.
Three new DigiDestined are chosen, and each is given an old Digimon to battle with them. The three, T.K., and Kari all have a D-3 , a novel gadget that enables users to open a gate and enter the Digital World through any machine.
Additionally, they get D-Terminals with Crest-themed Digi-Eggs that may be used to evolve their Digimon companions into armor in order to fight Control Spires.

As Oikawa implants the Dark Spores into the kids, the DigiDestined battle the Daemon Corps & its commander, Daemon, after they have returned to Japan.
BlackWarGreymon sacrifices his life to block the link to the Digital World at Highton View Terrace before Oikawa & the kids may transfer there after Daemon is imprisoned in the Dark Ocean.
The kids and Oikawa send the DigiDestined to a Dream World where they discover that Myotismon is in charge of them. Myotismon separates off from Oikawa and becomes MaloMyotismon by harnessing the power of the Dark Spores.
The DigiDestined destroy MaloMyotismon with the aid of the DigiDestined all throughout the globe, and Oikawa makes a sacrifice in order to reconstruct the Digital globe. After 25 years, humans and Digimon coexist in society.
