Starring Freema Agyeman from Doctor Who as pregnant Trish, it exposes the loves, lies, secrets, & ambitions of four sisters. Sheila Reid, Frances Barber, & singer Lily Allen, who will be making her TV debut, are all included in the cast from Benidorm.
Dreamland is a seven-episode British comedy television drama that made its debut on the Sky Atlantic Network (Sky Arts) on April 6, 2023. The English version of this show is now streaming with English subtitles. This program is currently unavailable in certain regions.

Dreamland Season 2 Storyline:
After the kids are delivered, we’d want to see more of Mel and Trish’s narrative and see how they deal with the uncommon situation of having Spence as the father of both of their children.
Additionally, we’d want to learn more about France Barber’s mother, Diane (Martina Laird), and the developing romance between Leila & Margate outsider Dom (Hugh Coles).
Regarding season 2, writer and actor Gabby Best stated she’d want to explore Clare’s backstory further if the program were to come back. She said, “There’s a degree to which Claire uses these [sisterly] responsibilities as a justification to avoid taking stock of her own life.
Dreamland is set in Margate & follows the oldest sister Trish, who is expecting her third child and is yearning for a girl. Trish is portrayed by Freema Agyeman.
Clare (Gabby Best) and Leila (Aimee-Ffion Edwards), two of her sisters, help their mother Frances Barber and “legend” Nan (Sheila Reid) “manifest” a young child, but then their other sister Mel (Lily Allen) unexpectedly reemerges when she returns from Paris to Margate. Their “dreamland” has abruptly vanished, and Mel’s return might cause the family as a whole to become unstable.
There won’t be a second season of Dreamland since the show received a poor rating from viewers. The IMDb rating for this comedy-drama show is 6.5/10, which is average.

Sisters Trish (Freema Agyeman), Mel (Lily Allen), Clare (Gabby Best), & Leila (Aimee-Ffion Edwards) were the subjects of series 1.
During the course of the series, Mel and Trish both had unborn children—Mel with a mysterious French lover, and Trish with her longtime boyfriend Spence (Kiell Smith-Bynoe).
When Mel comes back to Margate from France, her pregnancy isn’t the only thing she’s keeping from her family. Later on, we learn that she had a drug- and alcohol-fueled one-night affair with Spence, giving birth to her child.
In the episode 6 finale, Mel finally breaks and exposes the devastating truth about her baby’s paternity, just as Trish & Spence have just signed the papers and moving into their new house.
The episode ends with Mel crying alone after betraying her sister, Spence being kicked out of the house, and an angry Trish being left alone in her house with only Leila to console her.
Clare is also blamed by Spence & Mel for learning their secret early in the series and keeping it from Trish.
