Drifting Home storyline:

The story is about six kids who get stuck in an apartment that starts to float out to sea.

The anime starts with a flashback to when Kosuke and Natsume were kids and best friends. When Kosuke’s grandfather died while they were both in sixth grade, their friendship started to fall apart.

Years later, Kosuke and some of his friends sneak into an old apartment that is about to be torn down during the summer break. People don’t go inside because they think it’s haunted. Kosuke sneaks in because he and his grandpa used to live there, and all of his greatest memories to his best friend Natsume are there.

Kosuke meets Natsume there, which is a surprise, and they talk about their pasts. He asks him if he understands anything about Noppo, who is a mystery. But then something happens and they all pass out at the same time.

When they wake up, they look outside and see a huge ocean. They realise they belong to the ocean and that the apartment is moving away from them.

Six of them work together to get out of here and get to the land. During the series, we see them enjoy the sea, make memories, cry, be afraid, fight, and work together. And a trip to say goodbye to summer starts…

Will they both be able to get home? Or will they fall into the ocean and sink? So, be gentle and watch Drifting Home to find out everything you need to know.

Kosuke and Natsume have indeed been friends since they were kids. They were raised together as if they were brothers and sisters.

However, after Kosuke’s grandfather Yasutsugu died in sixth grade, their friendship began to change. During their summer break, Kosuke and some of his fellow students sneak into an apartment complex that is going to be torn down and is said to be haunted.

Kosuke and Natsume both grew up there, so it reminds them of a lot of things. There, Kosuke runs into Natsume, who asks him if he knows anything about the strange Noppo. But all of a sudden, they are caught up in a strange event.

When they wake up, they see a huge ocean in front of them. As Kosuke and the other people on board the apartment building drift through a mysterious sea, they work together to try to stay alive. There really are tears and battles, and they might even make up.

It still has some secrets, but it gives fans enough information to know what to expect when they finally get around to watching it on Netflix in the coming weeks.

In the trailer for the new series, Kosuke and two of his classmates break into an empty apartment building that is set to be torn down and is said to be haunted.

And yet what they discovered there has nothing to do with the supernatural. When the gathering sleeps in the convicted flat, they wake up to find that it has been moved to a place they don’t know where it is. It looks like it is floating on a big ocean.
