Euphoria Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Storyline, Trailer Release, and Everything You Need to Know

Early in 2022, season two of Euphoria came to a bittersweet end, and we’ve not been capable of ceasing crying ever since.

In February 2022, viewers of the television series watched the last episode of the season, which had eight parts.

Even though the mourning procedure has been hard (what will we do without Maddy’s mood swings and perfectly done cat eye liner every week? ), HBO took the time to let us know that season three of the tv series has been confirmed.

On February 4, 2022, the Euphoria Instagram account posted a short clip saying that season two wouldn’t be the conclusion for Jules, Maddy, Nate, Cassie, and the rest of the main characters. The channel wrote in the video’s caption, “#EUPHORIA has been picked up for a third season.”

Euphoria Season 3 Release Date:

Unfortunately, it looks like there have been more delays, and even though we thought season 3 would be done by now, it doesn’t look like filming has even begun… Maude Apatow told Vogue in a recent interview that she hasn’t even seen the script yet.

The actress for the forthcoming season of Euphoria said, “I honestly don’t know anything.” “We should get scripts and news about next season soon, but I have no idea what’s going on!”

The latest news is that filming for season 3 won’t start until the second half of 2023. This means that we probably won’t see the season premiere until at least the beginning of 2024.

Euphoria Season 3 Cast:

Things aren’t quite as easy for the remaining members of the ensemble, though. Barbie Ferreira, who plays Kat Hernandez, will not be back for the next season of Euphoria. This has already been confirmed.

Even though nothing has been confirmed, we are almost certain that Cassie Howard (Sydney Sweeney), Lexi Howard (Maude Apatow), Maddy Perez (Alexa Demie), and Nate Jacobs (Jacob Elordi) will be back for season 3.

Hunter Schafer, who played Jules, had less to do in season 2 as Rue tried to balance her relationship with him and her efforts to get clean. In the last episode of season 2, Rue seemed to end the relationship for good, but it’s not clear if that’s the end of Jules’ involvement in Euphoria High. We think she’ll come back, but we don’t know how important she’ll be.

  • Zendaya as Rue Bennett
  • Hunter Schafer as Jules Vaughn
  • Sydney Sweeney as Cassie Howard
  • Lexi Howard, played by Maude Apatow
  • Jacob Elordi as Nate Jacobs
  • Alexa Demie as Maddy Perez
  • As Fezco, Angus Cloud
  • Elliot played by Dominic Fike
  • Chlo Grace Moretz as Faye

Euphoria Season 3 Storyline:

As of March 2023, we didn’t know anything for sure about the plot of Euphoria season 3. We think, though, that there will be a jump in time.

If Rue’s narration about “staying sober for the remainder of the educational year” is any indication, there will probably be a time jump between both the conclusion of season 2 and the beginning of season 3.

That seems to be true based on what Zendaya said in a question and answer session with The Hollywood Reporter.

She said, “I think it’ll be fun to see what happens to the characters after high school. I would like to see how Rue’s journey to sobriety looks, how crazy it might be. So, not only will Rue be sober, we’ll also move even further away from the school.

Zendaya has also said that she wants Rue to experience real “happiness” and that she wants to add “goodness and joy” to Rue’s story. Let’s see if that really happens, because the characters in Euphoria haven’t been happy for very long so far.

What the hell has happened to Fez is our first and most important question. The last time we saw the nice drug dealer, he was telling lies in his hallway, trying to stay out of the way of the SWAT team and Ashtray’s fight.

Ashtray is almost certainly dead after his crazy spree, but Fez is probably going to prison because he was to blame for Ashtray killing Custer.

When it comes to prison, we are certain that Cal Jacobs will go to jail because his son Nate turned him in to the officers for years of sexual misconduct.

What does Nate have in mind? Has the dude at Euphoria High started to turn over a fresh start, or does he want to get back at more than just his dad?

Don’t forget about the show’s star, Zendaya, and the character she plays, Rue Bennett. By the season’s end 2, Rue seems to have cleaned up and be doing well. She’s apologized to the people she hurt when she was at her worst with her addiction.

She as well as Jules may no longer be together, but it seems like they’re still on good terms. Rue must get in trouble in season 3 for losing $10,000 worth of pills that rightfully belongs to the creepy narcotic lord Laurie.

Zendaya told Variety that she hopes to be able to “explore [Rue’s] life in the future, nearer to other side and her journey to sobriety.”

That would be great, right? But Euphoria doesn’t give its characters much happiness, so we’ll have to wait and see what happens to Rue.

As if that wasn’t enough drama, in the season 2 finale, the suspense among Cassie and Maddy reached a boiling point.

After Cassie stole Maddy’s boyfriend, Nate Jacobs, the two got into a fight during Lexi’s play that left them both with cuts and bruises. Nate may well have broken with Cassie, but Maddy tells her, “Don’t worry, this is only the beginning,” which means Cassie has a lot more pain to go through.
