Jeanine Pirro’s character, the local judge, offers the pupils one week to demonstrate that they are receiving an acceptable education or they would be compelled to enroll in public school.

In order to speak before a congressional panel on homeschooling, the pastor and parents go to Washington, D.C. In the film’s second half, the parents, pastor, & politicians all give lengthy arguments against homeschooling.

White elaborated on the origins of the “God’s Not Dead” films, saying that their primary goal has always been to start spiritually enriching discussions.

He recently revealed to Pure Flix the Insider that the original idea for the first film in the trilogy came about when he along with other producers set out to create a high-quality apologetics film.

He said that the idea for the film “God’s Not Dead” came to him after hearing the Newsboys’ song of the same name: “We always wanted to create an apologetic film, as we had been collaborating on various versions of attempting to do this for a while,” he added.

The “God’s Not Dead” movies went on to inspire millions of people all around the world, and the rest is history. Later in the story, the subsequent campaign becomes a battle between Dave and his opponents’ views as the latter plots to eradicate religion’s influence on public policy via the ballot box.

The scene prepares for a high-stakes political battle, when personal values and the quest for power meet in a dramatic campaign for change.

Harold Cronk, the mind behind both the first “God’s Not Dead” film and its sequel, “God’s Not Dead 2,” is at the helm once again. In the forthcoming episode, series creator David A.R. White reprises his position as Reverend Dave.

Dean Cain, Isaiah Washington, Ray Wise, Cory Oliver, & Brad Heller are slated to return to their previous roles in this highly anticipated film with him.

Cronk’s skill as a filmmaker bodes well for the ensemble as they embark on what is sure to be an engrossing new chapter of the narrative.

White said that this was a big deal for the ‘God’s Not Dead’ series and that he couldn’t wait to show the fans the next installment. Even now, eight years later, he was still awed and humbled by the impact that this kind of film and its message had on so many people. White spoke on his joy and honor in becoming a part of this cause and the indisputable legacy and significance of the film series.
