I’m in Love with the Villainess (2023) Storyline:
When Oohashi Rei, a regular office worker, gets overworked to death, she unexpectedly finds herself resurrected as Revolution’s Rae Taylor, the game’s main character.
Rae, however, is not interested in any of the three original romantic paths the game offers with the princes of the Bauer Kingdom. She instead focuses her attention on Claire François, the primary foe of the game.
Rae seeks to offer Claire an idyllic conclusion before the impending revolution ruins any possibility of it occurring using her knowledge of the the game’s future events.
Claire Francois, the antagonist of the game, is also a noble from the powerful Francois family in the Bauer Kingdom. Her family has long held leadership roles in the government & has engaged in ongoing conflict with Achard House to establish itself as the more powerful house.
All three princes who proposed Rae are well aware of her clear preference for Claire. Along with her crush, Rae also has extensive gaming expertise that she uses to predict what will happen to Claire.
Before the game damages her chances, can Rae get to know Claire more and offer her a happy ending? The show’s main story revolves on this.
When Rei Oohashi, a regular office worker, is overworked and exhausted, she unintentionally resurfaces as Rae Taylor, the protagonist of her beloved otome game Revolution.
I’m charmed with the evil storyline and the high hopes.
Rae, though, isn’t very interested in the Bauer Kingdom princes’ early romantic possibilities in the game. Instead, she begins to develop feelings for Claire François, the primary bad guy in the game.
Rae, who knows what will happen in the game, strives to help Claire reach a happy conclusion while the approaching revolution puts an end to any possibility of it occurring.
The plot centers on Oohashi Rei, a regular office worker who passed away from overwork and was reborn as Rae Taylor in the Revolution universe, her favorite otome game.
Rae’s first love interest is Claire Francois, the game’s antagonist, who attracts men with her attractive appearance and blonde, drill-shaped ringlets.
