The filming of Mission: Impossible 7, which we remember has a release date set for November 2021 (although it could be postponed given the international situation of cinemas); at this time the crew and cast have moved to Abu Dhabi and the director Christopher McQuarrie gives us a taste.
Through his Instagram account, McQuarrie posted a shot that was nothing short of breathtaking of the Abu Dhabi sky from which you can see the roofs of the city's skyscrapers emerging from the clouds (which seem vaguely reminiscent of the city in the clouds of the Star Wars universe). Rightly, as a caption that accompanies the shot, the director adds only three ellipsis, because in fact there is really a need for a moment of suspension to enjoy that simply heavenly panorama.
After Rome and Venice, the shooting then moved to the Saudi capital and we hope that the work will proceed safely, as Tom Cruise will closely monitor the situation as he did on the set in Rome (you will remember the outburst of Tom made to some members of the crew, then removed from the set).
Directed by McQuarrie, former author of the chapters Rogue Nation e Fallout, the film also includes Hayley Hatwell (who recently appeared alongside Cruise in a photo from the Roman set of Mission: Impossible 7) Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Ving Rhames, Pom Klementieff and Esai Morales, for a ' expected exit in US theaters on November 19, 2021. Mission: Impossible 8 instead it will arrive on November 4, 2022.
As filming continues at the UK's Longross Film Studios, composer Lorne Balfe sent the director the soundtrack file for Mission: Impossible 7.
