In Into the Night, a group of people are on a plane that has been taken over by a hijacker, who wants to take off early.
Some of the passengers and crew make it out alive and try to keep themselves safe. The plane’s pilot, Mathieu, along with one of the commuters, Sylvie, are in charge of the people who are still alive.
Those who all collaborate in order to resolve the troubles that will come up as they try to stay alive.

Horst and Laura’s hard work paid off in second season when they found a rat that might live in the sun. This idea will be important in the next part of the story because of this.

They had been letting rats leave the bomb shelter to see how they would do in the outside world. It looks like the decision to put the rat in an iced tin jar is indeed the key to figuring out how people can survive in the outside world.
In the last season, the survivors tried to find safety in a NATO bunker. They feared the sun’s dangerous rays.
The people who were still alive joined forces with the military people in the bomb shelter to solve a conflict that was getting worse and other problems, like the slow loss of supplies.
Prior to actually season 2, the show started talking about a rat that managed to stay alive in the sun.
Since the first season, Horst and Laura have been letting the rats out into the sun to see if they can stay alive.
The rat that managed to stay alive was protected with such a frozen tin can. So, they think that, such as water, ice might protect against the sun’s dangerous rays.
If the show is picked up for a third season, the fight for survival will continue.
