When a powerful sorcerer set Chihiro and Char against him, the chapter rushed headfirst into action. It seemed like there was no way out of the nearly impossible conflict as the sorcerer cast a spell that turned soil into clones.
Chihiro was startled to remember his father’s death and worried that he may lose Char the way he had lost his father. It came to light that the sorcerer had been using a spell to make his enemies remember terrible things.
The sorcerer shared tales about the Kyonagi, Char’s clan, and how they could confer immortality on anybody who ate them. This new information clarified why Char was so reluctant to show her actual talents.
The fact that Char recovered from the sorcerer’s broken legs in an instant was proof of her immense strength. Chihiro attacked the sorcerer, brandishing a little sword, and revealed that his resolve sprang from his past tragedy.
Chihiro saved the day and vowed to defend Char once more after defeating the sorcerer with his secret sword.
She cautioned her to only tell the most trusted person about her ability to cure herself instantly. Some time ago, her mother confided in the individual she loved the most Char’s father but he became so terrified that he went away.
Having said that, she was still happiest having Char by her side. After that, the chapter went back to the battlefield, where Chihiro Rokuhira showed off his newfound skill to slash into enemies.
It came to light that his Kuro Scatter unleashed a swarm of miniature Kuro, delivering twenty slashes simultaneously. Chihiro relied on his intuition rather than reasoning when he came up with the approach, considering his damaged status.
He encased himself in Nishiki at that time, having gained a greater comprehension of his sword through his intense focus. As he effortlessly destroyed his enemies, chaos ensued.
Genichi Sojo then gave Char and her mom, whom he had caught, the now-famous story of the Kyonagi Clan’s slaughter in a flashback later in the chapter.

As Char runs away, her eyes welling up with tears, we find out that her mother set fire to many research devices. Nonetheless, the two males boasted that they effortlessly recaptured Char after quickly restoring everything. Meanwhile, Chihiro finds Char after vanquishing many sorcerers and beheading two terrifying guards.
At that instant of laser-like focus, his natural mastery of the sword blossomed, revealing Nishiki. In Chapter 15 of Kagurabachi, he proceeds by flying past the sorcerers and killing them all. Complete chaos follows.
In a flashback that occurs later in the section, Char and her mother are seen again when they are at Sojo’s laboratory. The Mafia boss explained the illustrious Kyonagi Clan story in great detail, including how the clan perished following the war.
