Kumari Srimathi Season 2 Storyline:
Srimathi, the protagonist of this series, works tirelessly to reclaim the family land she lost to her uncle via her passion and company. Srimathi, played by Nithya Menen, earns Rs. 13,000 a month from her job as a waitress.
The court is now hearing a lawsuit involving her uncle’s property. During one of the court proceedings, her uncle presented a will in which it is said that her grandpa has bequeathed all of her possessions to her uncle, leaving her father, Srimathi, with nothing.
At the court seeing, the judge said that the ancestral land was really worth 38 lakhs and offered Srimathi the option to purchase it from her uncle for 38 lakhs. Srimathi quits her work to open a bar and a restaurant in her hometown. She pays off the debt and achieves prosperity.
Never in her wildest dreams would she ever allow someone to sell their family home, a vow she took to her grandpa many years ago. She is the rock that keeps her little family together, despite the stereotype that daughters are a burden.
They were already evicted from their own residence when her father, Visweshwar, abandoned them. Keshav, Siri’s uncle, intends to acquire full possession of the land! Therefore, he goes to extreme lengths, such as creating false papers, to assert his unlawful claim to the contested property.
Srimathi, however, is not quite prepared to let it all go. The already convoluted situation became even more so throughout the court sessions.
The court finally said that Srimathi might get the property right in no time at all if she could only provide Keshav 38 lakh rupees within the next six months! She starts her journey of struggle and adversity here. After giving it some thought, she quits her boring job and intends to start a restaurant & bar!
However, in order to realize her dream of creating the “Taj Mahal Bar,” she had to confront society’s many inquiries. Srimathi is determined to keep her restaurant open no matter what, even if she has to knock on a lot of doors to secure the liquor license and deal with resistance from her uncle along with other ladies in the community.
