Earth & Hell have merged in a near-future planet where a nuclear catastrophe occurred, as shown in My Daemon. Kento, a little boy living in this dystopian world, befriends and trains a tiny demon girl called Anna. Then they embarked on a mission to find Kento’s mom.
The last scene of My Daemon poignantly concludes Anna and Kento’s adventure and proposes a peaceful resolution to the daemon-human conflict. Nevertheless, it does not rule out the possibility of a second season of My Daemon, leaving space for speculation.
An anime-infused combination of fantasy and science fiction, My Daemon was produced specifically for Netflix by the Thai business Igloo Studio. The series, which will be directed by Nat Yoswatananont, is set to premiere on the 23rd of November 2023.

If I were to guess when the program will be released, it would take at least a year to write the story, create the animation, perform the dubbing, and sell it.
If My Daemon receives a second season order, I would not be surprised if we saw it premiere around the latter half of 2024 or the first half of 2025.

My Daemon Season 2 Storyline:
Following the suspenseful climax, the touching finale of “My Daemon” takes place as Kento stands at his mother’s graveside, articulating his feelings.
However, things take a surprising turn when Anna says her own name, which makes Kento grin and turn to face the camera. Viewers are left with an ambiguous finale by this unexplained change of events, which makes them hungry to find out what happens next on Kento and Anna’s trip.
Kento, a young student in the not-so-distant future, finds a little demon companion called Anna. In this world, an atomic blast has sent Earth hurtling towards an awful collision with Hell.
In a post-apocalyptic world, they find each other and set out on an exciting mission to rescue Kento’s mom. A captivating story of courage, perseverance, and the remarkable friendship between a little kid and his supernatural sidekick plays out across the series.
The tale is out of the way; let’s discuss the good and the bad now. Because overall, I felt the event was only a passable viewing experience; nothing really stood out to me either during or after the performance ended.
The fact that it has numerous components that I’ve seen in various mediums makes this plausible. After losing a loved one, the child desperately seeks their return. Along their travels across the post-apocalyptic wasteland, the youngster forms an unlikely friendship with a monster-seeking creature.
Though I’m familiar with the elements, I had the impression that My Daemon didn’t do much to innovate beyond its own take on those inspirations. Some may find the formula entertaining and get swept up in the excitement. My disappointment is that I was not as awestruck.
The action parts we got had good animation. But I felt that these massive battle sequences were a staple of the show, and with each new war, they lost some of their novelty and intrigue.
Even though the show takes place in a world ruled by evildoers and horrible people, I grasp that it’s an action fantasy. If the point of the tale is for Kento to get from point A to point B, then there aren’t many possible paths from point A to point B in this universe.
Consequently, I felt like I was seeing the same old things in the plot with each new setting and conflict. I don’t know whether thirteen to twenty-five minutes episodes were the ideal length for this program if the idea was meant to be conveyed via cinematic means.
My Daemon, if anything, would have been more effective as a film running for an hour and forty-five minutes. It may have lasted 45 minutes and included removing part of the center meat, which I liked at first but got sick of by the time we got to Episode 5.
In this case, I will use Nimona as an example. It was an animated feature picture that came out earlier this year on Netflix. It had a big universe, had adventure, and dealt with monsters and how certain people saw them. In my opinion, it occurred at around the hour and forty-five-minute point.
My Daemon had 20 to 30-minute episodes; I doubt Nimona would have worked as well if it had followed that format. Therefore, I do think that My Daemon might have benefited greatly from some condensing, as it would have concentrated it for a better.
