She was slain 10 years ago, and before she may rest in peace, her perpetrator must be apprehended. Nanana amassed items from all around the globe and concealed them around the island before she passed away.

They ought to be able to identify the offender using the enigmatic abilities of these buried artifacts. Jugo learns there are other people looking as he starts his quest for her collection, however.

Yama Juugo, who was banished and abandoned by his father, is relieved to be free when he reaches Nanaejima, an artificial island additionally referred to as the Special Student Zone.

When he gets to the apartment he rented, Ryuugajou Nanana, a ghost that lives in Juugo’s new room, greets him. Juugo does some study on Nanana and even questions the landlady, Shiki Maboro, regarding her time with Nanana before her passing after performing some games with Nanana to decide who is the lord of Juugo’s room (as well as breaking his arm in the process).

She divulges that Nanana was once an explorer and a member of the Great 7 group, while she even finds out about Nanana’s collection, which contains unique artifacts that have been strewn over the island.

Juugo returns to his room and finds a pamphlet named “Nanana Manual” authored by Konjou Kasumi in the bathroom’s hidden compartment. Kasumi left a last request and some information on Nanana & the Adventure Club.

The phantom thief crew Matsuri steals something from one of the structures at night. Juugo spots a little parachute containing a tiny package and a transponder while returning from a convenience shop.

Once back in his room, Juugo and Nanana discover the package contains a blue gem from one of Nanana’s collections designated as the Light-Up Lie Detector.

The group of the Matsuri gang, Yukihime and Shu, argue at another location over their botched theft since they were unable to locate the diamond.

The following day, a young investigator by the name of Tensai and her helper Daraku examine the murder site and face Juugo, their top suspect, in his room.

In her inquiry, Tensai looked at surveillance video from the convenience shop and even covertly unlocked Juugo’s phone. Juugo gives over the jewel-containing box after realizing he is the culprit.

Tensai was accused of stealing the gem the next morning. Tensai & Daraku will switch to Juugo’s school soon. Following Yuiga’s meeting with Nanana, Nanana tells Juugo that the murderer left a dragon scar on the victim’s neck, and Juugo pledges to assist her in identifying the assailant.

The next day, Yuiga uses a ruin to test Juugo, Tensai, and Daraku. Juugo makes an effort to forcefully complete the assignment using his strength and endurance, but Tensai succeeds in unlocking the mystery of the ruin, and all three succeed and pass to become full members of the gang.
