The original’s supernatural aspects will be included in the series as well, although the location will be 1938 Los Angeles rather than Victorian London.

diverse reports John Logan, the author, executive producer, and creator of Penny Dreadful, will continue in these roles for the forthcoming season.

In contrast to the “Penny Dreadful” London tales, Logan remarked, “Penny Dreadful City of Angels will have a social consciousness & historical awareness.”

According to Variety, the period and locale of Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, 1938 Los Angeles, are rife with social conflict and Mexican-American culture.

The new series will examine a blend of the supernatural & the realities of the era, and is rooted on the fight between figures tied to the goddess Santa Muerte and those associated with the Devil.

“We were so thrilled when John Logan came to us with this wildly original take on the Penny Dreadful mythology that explores both the human spirit as the spirit world here in California,” said Gary Levine, Showtime’s president of programming.

The upcoming film Penny Dreadful: City of Angels “promises to be an extraordinary tale of familial love pitted against the terrifying monsters who are both within and around us.”

We will now be debating particular historical and contemporary political, religious, social, & racial concerns, Logan continued.

“Los Angeles was confronted with difficult choices about its destiny and its spirit in 1938.

“Our characters have to follow suit. There are no simple solutions.

Only compelling questions and compelling moral issues remain. There are only both protagonists and antagonists in this universe, difficult and troubled beings who live on the periphery of moral choice, much as in the world of Penny Dreadful.

What number of episodes will there be in the next Penny Dreadful season?

If the Penny Dreadful showrunner chooses to create a new season, it may contain nine episodes or more since previous seasons of the show also had nine episodes. Therefore, the future season will likely have at least nine episodes.

We saw nine episodes of the previous season, including the following:

Episodes of “The Day Tennyson Died” include “Predators Far and Near,” “Good and Evil Braided Be,” “A Blade of Grass,” “This World Is Our Hell,” “No Beast So Fierce,” “Ebb Tide,” “Perpetual Night,” “The Blessed Dark,” and “Penny Dreadful.” Reviews and Ratings for Season 4

Penny Dreadful Season 4 Review:

Finally, we completed Season 3 of Penny Dreadful on the Showtime app. This plot revolves on Vanessa Ives eventually meeting Dracula, the person who gave rise to her frequent paranormal encounters.

If she were to have any hope of ending her suffering, the band must reunite. We also see the dissolution of the relationship between Dorian and Lily and the ongoing journey of self-discovery for Dr. Frankenstein & the Monster. The worst season by far was this one.

There was definitely room for improvement in the description of the monster’s original self. I enjoyed how the narrative came to an end. The only plot thread that had a happy ending was that one, but even so, it was a poor finish.

Each character’s climax and last battle seemed hurried and underwhelming. The last episode left me feeling quite depressed. This season gets a six out of 10, season two gets a nine, and season one gets a ten.
