G’iah then exposes the rebels’ plot to assault Vossoyedineniye Square on Unity Day after Talos reveals that her mom, Soren, was slain by the rebels.
Before Grava detonates the explosives, Fury, Hill, and Talos are unable to intercept them. Gravik assumes the identity of Fury during the subsequent mayhem and murders Hill.
In 1997, Fury recruits numerous Skrull refugees in return for assistance in locating a new home planet, including a young, orphaned Gravik. Talos informs Fury that there are now one million Skrulls residing on Earth.
