Eight parts of high-octane espionage are now available to fans of his most recent movie, Special Ops: Lioness, on the streaming service. In Special Ops: Lioness, played by Locke & Key’s Laysla De Oliveira, US Marine Cruz Manuelos is accepted into the CIA’s “Lioness” program, where female operatives develop relationships with daughters and wives of high-value terrorist targets with the goal to gather intelligence and prevent future attacks. The program was motivated by a real US Military program.

In the movie Special Ops: Lioness, which is based on a true CIA program, Cruz (played by Laysla De Oliveira), a young Marine, is chosen to become part of the Lioness Engagement Team, which is led by the stern & demanding officer Joe (Saldana).
Cruz’s goal is to pose as a woman and get friends with a prominent terrorist target’s daughter so that the CIA can track down and kill the target.

As of right now, no official announcement has been made on whether Special Ops Lioness will return for a third season or not. It’s probable that “Special Ops Lioness Series 3,” the much awaited follow-up to “The Special Ops Lioness,” may debut before the end of 2025.

Season 1 has so far shown us that Joe consistently finds it difficult to manage her personal and professional life. The majority of her time is spent defending the United States while her husband Neal as well as daughter Kate wait for her at home.
