Summertime Rendering Season 2 Storyline:

After learning of Ushio’s demise, Shinpei takes the Hitogashima to his birthplace of Wakayama City where he meets up with his boyhood friend’s family.

The burial goes down with out a hitch, but under the surface of the island, something strange is brewing. What surprises await him on this isolated island over the summer?

Since the passing of his parents, Shinpei Ajiro has been living with the Kofune family & their two children. After Ushio’s terrible drowning while trying to save a little girl, he departs for Tokyo to complete his studies but returns later. He becomes concerned about the true reason of Ushio’s death when he learns about bruises discovered around her neck at the burial.

He attempts to reconstruct the events to find some answers since he doesn’t believe Ushio’s death was the result of a murder, but weirder things just keep happening to him.

Mio is reminded of the folktale of “Shadows,” where it is said that meeting one’s Shadow foretells one’s approaching death, when disappearing persons and other similar strange and illogical occurrences occur.

Shinpei, who is facing his awful destiny, defies it in order to carry out Ushio’s last wish—to protect Mio.

After his parents passed away, Shinpei Ajiro grown up with his neighborhood buddies Kofun Ushio and Mio. When he learned that Ushio had drowned to death, Shinpei was a grown-up living in Tokyo.

He goes back to the remote island settlement, but when he sees that Ushio’s body is covered in marks, he begins to worry that she may have been choked.

Shinpei, who is now troubled by Ushio’s ghost and is helped by Mio, works to find out what took place to Ushio in an effort to maybe shield the villagers from an enigmatic, frightening mystery.

Tokika San remained there to prevent anybody from approaching the entryway. The elderly guy stayed at the barrier to prevent Shide’s shadow from traveling ahead.

However, Shide and Haine succeeded in reaching the main door. Shide, Haine, & Shinpei put up a valiant fight. Haine blocked Ushio’s last blow as she prepared to deliver it. Now that Shide is returned, Haine is powerful once again.
