Perhaps one of Maybe’s many works is the Japanese manga series Tales of Wedding Rings, also known as Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari.
It has been issued in fourteen volumes since it began serialization in Big Gangan in March 2014. In January 2024, Staple Entertainment will debut an anime television series based on the original.
Preview films and images introducing the characters of Tales of Wedding Rings are released weekly. This week was no different. The first week saw the introduction of Satou and Hime.

It has now been confirmed that Tales of Wedding Rings will debut early next year, after its introduction earlier this year. The show’s two leading stars were also the focus of newly released character videos and artwork.

The production is overseen by Staple Entertainment, and the directing is done by Takashi Naoya. Deko Akao writes the screenplays, Saori Nakashiki handles the character designs, and Satoshi Hōno composes the music. On January 6, 2024, among other networks, the series will debut.

Tales of Wedding Rings chronicles the adventures of Sato, a young man who races to locate his best friend from childhood, Hime, when she unexpectedly bids farewell, only to wind himself in a fantastical realm.
He becomes the renowned hero known as the Ring King after marrying Hime there. Maybe writes and illustrates the manga, which is a fantasy-themed love comedy.
The pair is well-known for their 2012 television animation Dusk Maiden of Amnesia and their 2019 television anime To the Abandoned Sacred Beasts (Katsute Kami Datta Kemono-tachi e). Kodansha USA Publishing will be publishing the English translation of the manga.

After hearing that Sato’s closest buddy, Hime, is relocating, he makes up his mind to tag along. When she unexpectedly kisses him, he finds himself unexpectedly dressed as the groom, having crashed her wedding on another planet! According to prophecy, her spouse would one day become the Ring King, a powerful hero who would save humanity from the clutches of the Abyssal King. Is Sato prepared to face the difficulty, or will his marriage fizzle out within the first year?
