Whenever he appears on film, Jayant Kripalani is one of the most impressive performers. Nobody else could have done a greater job, in my opinion.
Kripalani strips the protagonist of all his humanity his somewhat lost, slightly ridiculed, and slightly regretful and devours him like a ripe apple.
