The modern-day “Brady Bunch” is made up of widowed Erica, widower Spencer, & their 11 children in a tiny town in Utah. But combining two families may be difficult, and Erica’s brother is shocked by a sudden statement.
Erica’s concerns are stoked when Aimee’s mother, Rachel, pays them a visit, setting in a conflict with Paige & Dave. Erica and Spencer needed to have “the sex talk” with the older children as if the family turmoil wasn’t already enough.
In order for each parent to establish a relationship with their stepchildren, Erica & Spencer decide to switch stepchildren. Then, it’s time for four of Erica’s seven children to have their yearly MRI cancer cell test.
The Shemwell family must start toilet training all three youngest children before going on a camping vacation. While Erica confides in Spencer about her anxieties, Emma and Harper are unable to get along.
Spencer is left in charge of the children while Erica and a widowed friend go on a girls’ holiday. Spencer is there when Quinn arrives, costumed as a princess. Later, Erica as Spencer told the children about the adoption, and Emma is upset about getting a new name.
Emma is very opposed to having her last name changed, and the adoption has finally happened. A therapist is enlisted by Erica and Spencer. When Quinn, Erica’s brother, learns that a 12th child may be on the way, he doesn’t hold back his emotions.
