The Gryphon Season 2 Storyline:
In the novel The Gryphon, a youngster called Mark discovers on his 16th birthday that his family has ties to the “Black Tower,” a place where a terrible Gryphon with the potential to kill the world lurks.
The male family members have been charged with destroying the horrific beast that resides there, therefore it is Mark’s destiny to go to this other world.

The Gryphon centers on three teenagers who struggle to fit in at school: Mark, Memo, and Becky. One day they stumble across a legendary realm known as The Black Tower, home to terrifying monsters and controlled by the Gryphon, a monster with the reputation of “devouring the world.”
The Gryphon can only be destroyed by Mark, although Mark isn’t very motivated to do so. He is more concerned with females, his studies, and other adolescent activities. That is, until his sibling vanishes, forcing the party to go to the Black Tower in order to save the youngster.
The primary character of Nell Serrano is played by Gina Rodriguez, an American actress best known for portraying Jane Villanueva in the satirical romance dramedy show Jane the Virgin on The CW.
She received a Golden Globe Award in 2015 for her work on the program. After her wedding plans fell through and she was compelled to leave London, journalist Nell was forced to go back to Los Angeles.
Sam, Nell’s closest friend and coworker at the SoCal Independent, is portrayed by Hannah Simone. Hannah has worked as a model, actor, TV personality, and British-Canadian VJ in the past. She became well-known because to her portrayal of Cece Parekh on the Fox comedy New Girl.
The SoCal Independent editor-in-chief and Nell’s employer, Lexi, is played by Lauren Ash. Lauren is a Canadian comedian and actress who resides in Los Angeles at the moment.

While the narrative revolves on a basic quest to rescue a loved one and mankind as a whole, it is much more intriguing because of the supernatural-fantasy world that viewers are exposed to.

I stumbled onto The Gryphon in its English dub and ended up enjoying it. The reviews have been shockingly negative. The Netflix series Dark & Stranger Things come to mind.
It’s set (approximately) in the early 1990s and, like the show Stranger Things (which I like), has a lot of programming music in the background.
There are also many classic alternative music and older hip-hop tracks that are still well recognized and played today. The terrible men resemble White Walkers, so the alien-like monsters are sufficiently terrifying. As a whole, I’m pleased that I stumbled into this program, and I eagerly anticipate the next season.
