She reaches an agreement with evil sea witch Ursula that lets her live on land for a while, but it puts her life and her father’s crown in danger.
The plot of The Little Mermaid is not very mysterious. As with most of Disney’s other live-action remakes, the plot of this one is likely to stay pretty close to the original. The teaser already hinted at Ariel’s interest in the human world via the well-known song “Portion of One’s World,” in which Ariel sings about wanting to be a part of a world beyond the water or the human realm. Fans will get to see how Ariel and Prince Eric deal with the problems that come up because they are different.
We think that the plot of a remake will be pretty close to the plot of the original animated movie, but we do know that the movie will have new songs.
