The Orville Season 3 Storyline:
The crew of “The Orville” attempts to restore the previous timeline in the season 2 finale by wiping Kelly’s memory. The crew of the Orville is attempting to reestablish power and order after the Kaylon has conquered more than half of the galaxy and destroyed Earth.
When the team realizes that Kelly’s memory wipe is the only method to recover the previous world, they acquire a crucial protein.
They transport Claire back in time to erase Kelly’s memory while saving Orville from the Mariana Trench. Finally, Claire has achieved her goal of returning the time line to its original state.
The Orville, which takes place some 400 years in the future, follows Captain Ed Mercer (Seth MacFarlane) and his fellow travelers as they experience the joys and hardships of space travel. Kelly Grayson (Adrianne Palicki), Mercer’s ex-wife, is one of a large ensemble of both human and extraterrestrial crew members aboard the mid-level exploring ship.
The show examines both the small-scale issues they run into on a daily basis and the more significant issues of interplanetary travel and interspecies interactions.
