In the past few hours, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Immortan Joe from Mad Max: Fury Road, and now the co-star of the film, passed away at 73 Charlize Theron appeared on its official page of the social network Twitter for a last moving greeting.
You can see - * admire - the post at the bottom of the article, below the short translation:
"Rest in peace Hugh Keays-Byrne - it's amazing that you managed to play an evil warlord so well, because you were a kind and wonderful soul. We will miss you deeply, my friend."
Pictured posted by Charlize Theron we can see the behind the scenes of Mad Max: Fury Road, with Hugh Keays-Bryne as Immortan Joe and aboard his vehicle and Theron as Furiosa standing alongside director George Miller, who is quietly directing them with an explosive spear in hand.
For those who don't know, Hugh Keays-Byrne was also the Toecutter villain in the first Mad Max by Miller, released in 1979. In his career he has almost always played the role of the villain, working mainly in Australia but also in some American films between the 80s and 90s. It should also have played a role in Justice League: Mortal, the DC cinecomic never made by Miller, and fans already expected to see him again as Immortan Joe in the prequel Mad Max: Furiosa, with Eye Taylor-Joy e Chris Hemsworth.
