When it was presented with the top prize in the novel category of the fifth Kyoto Animation Award in 2014, it was the first ever work to receive a grand award in any of the three categories. Kyoto Animation published its initial light book in December 2015.
Between January and April 2018, Kyoto Animation’s 13-episode anime television shows adaptation, which had many sneak peaks in 2017, was shown. The show received Best Animation at the 2019 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
A new video animation episode was released in July 2018, and a spin-off movie had its Japanese premiere in September 2019. The second anime film, Violet Evergarden: The Movie, premiered in September 2020.
Violet Evergarden Season 2 Release Date:
As of the writing on July 13, 2022, the animated series has not yet gotten a second season renewal. As the following will remember, a fire started at the Kyoto Animation studio on July 18, 2019. As a consequence, the release dates of several studio projects were delayed. The company has developed recently.
