Weekenders Season 3 Release Date, Cast, Storyline, Trailer Release, and Everything You Need to Know:

The reality competition show “Weekenders” will return for a third season on Amazon Prime Video. Production on the same is expected to begin in Florida next summer or autumn.

Members of the group compete against each other in the hopes of winning a financial reward or the position of “Weekender.” The competitors compete in a number of events in an effort to earn points and advance to the final two.

At the confirmation of the finals, all remaining contenders will share their points with one of them. It comes down to the finalist who racks up the most points.

A four-season animated television series developed by Doug Langdale, The Weekenders (often called Disney’s The Weekenders) premiered on February 26, 2000, and ended on February 26, 2001.

The story revolves on the weekend activities of four seventh graders Tino, Lor, Carver, and Tish who are twelve years old. Prior to its transfer to Toon Disney, the series ran on ABC (Disney’s One Saturday Morning) & UPN (Disney’s One Too).

Weekenders Season 3 Storyline:

The host of the program is Amy Klewitz. She also hosts ‘The Wedding Common,’ which is centered in New York City, and the Big Apple Film Festival. Past events that Amy has presented include the Artvesta Wine & Cake Social & Diabetes Co-Stars: Cook-Off with Paul & Mira Sorvino.

Eight competitors battled it out for the Weekender title and cash prize in season two of the show. Among the many contestants that emerged victorious were Adrian Jackson Gilbert, Talia Milardo, Raychel Garcia, Jacob Laframboise, Jordan Kicklighter, Aleena Axel, Johanna Malary, & Diego Cowks. In a similar vein, the third season will presumably have a diverse cast of competitors to keep things interesting.

Filming for the second season again took place in Kissimmee, Florida. Newly released blockbusters including “Pain Hustlers” (starring Chris Evans and Emily Blunt) and “Nyad” (a biopic) were filmed in the state.

In example, Sean Baker’s drama film ‘The Florida Project,’ which is nominated for an Oscar, relies heavily on the city of Kissimmee as a filming site.

Four varied middle school kids’ weekend adventures are chronicled in The Weekenders: Tino Tonitini (voiced by Jason Marsden), a friendly as well as ambitious Italian-American boy; Lorraine “Lor” MacQuarrie (voiced by Grey DeLisle), a hyperactive as well as dull-witted Scottish-American girl; Carver René Descartes (voiced by Phil LaMarr), a vain and materialistic African-American boy who is of Haitian descent; as well as Petratishkovna “Tish” Katsufrakis (voiced by Kath Soucie), a highly intelligent and bibliophilic Jewish-American girl of Eastern European descent (the fictional country where that she was born is identified throughout the series simply as “the Old Country.”

School life is almost entirely absent from each episode, which takes place over the span of a weekend. The action of the episode begins on Friday, builds to a climax on Saturday, and takes place on Sunday in the third act.

The protagonists are under pressure to find a solution to the dilemma before returning to school on Monday, and the indicated “ticking clock” clock serves as a symbol of this urgency.

In each episode, Tino narrates what happens, sharing his perspective and that of his pals. At the conclusion of the narrative, he summarizes the lesson and always says “later days.”

In most episodes, there’s a running joke about the group going out to pizza at a different restaurant every time. For example, one time, the restaurant is themed like a prison, with each table representing a cell, or another time, the waiters dress like the Founding Fathers and make powerful remarks about the pizzas.
