Young Justice Season 5 Storyline:

Their mentors, Batman, Aquaman, Flash, & Green Arrow, invited Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, & Speedy to a meeting & a tour of the Hall of Justice in season 1.

But for whatever reason, the meeting was called off, angering Speedy, who fled as a sidekick. The other three, on the other hand, made an effort to impress their mentor by investigating a fire at Cadmus Labs.

While carrying out their investigation, they came upon Superboy, a Superman clone that they had shielded and utilized to expose the illicit activity occurring at Cadmus Labs.

This episode impressed the Justice League members, so they let the sidekicks to organize their own team for the shady missions. They were given entry to the secret catacombs under the old Justice League headquarters.

Young Justice members got missions and training there. when one of the young Justices is revealed to be a Light agent. When Speedy, referred to as Red Arrow, joins the Justice League, he is revealed as a traitor and goes on to enslave the whole League using magic, nano-mites, and alien technology.

Despite the fact that some of the Justice League members were mysteriously whisked from the globe for a brief period of time, Young Justice manages to release all of them from the Light’s captivity.

After serving in the Young League for five years, the Justice League extended an invitation to Robin, Miss Martian, & Superboy in Season 2, but they declined.

As Nightwing, Robin served as team captain, trainer, guardian, & League liaison. There were fresh faces in the Young League, and several members of the Young League resigned for various reasons.

It is revealed that five years before, when an alien entity attempted a hostile takeover of Earth, the Justice League had, in an act of strength, attacked a peaceful planet while under the leadership of “the Light.”

This showed other alien civilizations that Earth may be seen as a useful part of their empires. Once the invasion is thwarted, the Justice League member who were in control of it leave Earth in an attempt to clear their names.

As more and more aliens come to Earth, people’s faith in the Justice League starts to wane. Instead, they turn to the Reach, an alien society that promises a cordial, diplomatic relationship.

The Reach is revealed to be a Light ally who aspires to control Earth. Their rival Mongul sends his planetary destruction weapon, the War World, to destroy the Reach as a consequence of their actions.

Young Justice defeats Mongol. Aqualad reveals himself to be a double agent at a meeting between the Light & the Reach that Lex Luthor & Queen Bee are unable to attend.

The Team is battling metahuman trafficking in Season 3 two years after the Reach revealed the existence of the meta-gene dormant within people and how it may be awakened.

These initiatives now include participation from several nations and organizations. Geo-Force and Halo are two of the experiments conducted by the Markovian government.

They also need to contend with the continued plots of the Light, whose new leaders are Deathstroke, Ultra-Humanite, & Gretchen Goode, taking the positions of Ra’s al Ghul, Brain, and Black Manta, as well as the appearance of new characters from the worlds New Genesis and Apokolips.
