After passing out after eating raw pig liver, an unattractive otaku wakes up in the corpse of a pig. Jess, a little girl with the ability to read minds, befriends Pig despite his crude ideas and ultimately plans to devour him. When Jess is in risk of falling to a terrible destiny, can Pig rescue her with just his quick wits, knowledge, and acute sense of smell?
If you pass out after consuming raw pig liver, you’ll be reborn as a pig in a fantastical realm and have an adventure alongside a kind girl called Jess who can read minds. One unremarkable otaku with no special skills or talents gets reincarnated as a pig, and that is precisely what happens to him.
The initial season ended on a cliffhanger, suggesting that Wataru and Jess would have to overcome even more obstacles in the second.It turns out that the mythical item known as the Black Ristae, which has been said to restore humanity to normalcy, is a forgery.
This development then puts their lives in jeopardy, since those who constructed the false are now conscious of their existence as well. There being no obvious way to break Wataru’s curse, they are compelled to retreat into the wilderness, abandoning everything they own and thus becoming outcasts.
