Daily Dose of Sunshine Season 1 Storyline:
The series’ surprising length of 12 episodes might make finishing it a lengthy endeavor. Although “Behind Your Touch” had a somewhat lackluster narrative, the initial two episodes of the current series look to be acceptable, and the show’s screenwriter, Lee Nam-Kyu.
The events of “Daily Dose of Sunshine” take place at a psychiatric hospital and show how patients and staff deal with mental health issues.
For viewers with personal experience of mental health conditions, the drama may include stuff that is distressing or upsetting. Viewers with knowledge of mental health issues should evaluate their own suitability for watching before starting.
Jung Da Eun works as a nurse’s aide. She has been transferred to neuropsychiatry from internal medicine. She feels a little out of place and challenged by her initial foray into the field of neuropsychiatry.
To treat patients, Jung Da Eun tries her best under the watchful eye of head nurse Song Hyo Jin, from whom she learns and grows as a nurse.Dr. Dong Go Yoon focuses on proctology as his area of expertise.
Dong Go Yoon finds himself grinning whenever Nurse Jung Da Eun is around, thanks to her sarcastic attitude and observational skills. Jung Da Eun enjoys Song Yoo Chan’s company and is a fan of his music. He looks to be a handsome guy, although he is a load of anguish which nobody knows of.
We think Deul Re’s narrative is meant to demonstrate that one’s whole life and perspective may be influenced or constrained by the acts of others, regardless of the presence or absence of a mental health problem.
Deul Re’s mother was abusive and neglected throughout her childhood. Deul Re had to put herself throughout high school and college by working many jobs since her mother paid little attention to them and she was constantly afraid she would lose everything. Since her mom never acknowledged her efforts, she too struggled with low self-esteem. Even though Deul Re knew her mother was poisonous, she could not let go of needing the woman’s praise.
Because of this, when Hwang Yeo Hwan first asks her out, she declines because she believes he would no longer want to be with her once he learns the truth about her circumstances.
Deul Re’s mother has taken out debts in her name, leaving her in a precarious financial situation, and he has to go to great lengths to convince her to go on a date with him. Yeo Hwan, however, is not deterred and eventually wins Deul Re over and they begin dating.
After some time, Da Eun must face her own history and the ways in which she has consistently disregarded her own demands. Da Eun learned to stifle her emotions when the death of her father caused her mother to take on a great deal of responsibility, including the care of Da Eun and her siblings.
Da Eun’s constant self-doubt stems from her fear of being a burden for others around her. Because of this, she has grown emotionally distant, which has contributed to her sadness.
Da Eun makes an effort in that direction, and eventually the doctor gives her the green light to resume her regular activities. Although she will always have this condition, so long as she has a solid support structure in place, she will be OK.
