The best-selling book by Ann Napolitano, Dear Edward, comes to life on Apple TV Plus. Connie Britton, known for her roles in 24 and Friday Evening Lights, and Taylor Schilling, known for his role in Orange Is the New Black, are at the head of the cast.

The drama series was produced by Jason Katims, who also created Friday Night Lights. It’s about a 12-year-old boy named Edward Adler, who is played by a new actor named Colin O’Brien, and how he manages to survive a crash landing that kills everybody else on board, such as his family.

According to the official synopsis, “as Edward and other people affected by tragedy attempt to make sense of living after the collision, unexpected friendships, romances, and communities are formed.”

Apple TV+ is keeping the tear-jerking scenes for the occurrences and maybe the trailer, thus the first photos just demonstrate the lead actors having fun with each other as they try to cheer up the title character.

The pictures don’t say much about where they were taken, one of them looks like it was taken at a party because there are balloons in the background. When the trailer comes, we’ll know more.

On February 3, 2023, the first 3 instances of Dear Edward will appear for the first time on Apple TV. After that, a new episode will air every Friday until April 24, 2023. There are 10 episodes.

His aunt wants to introduce him to her neighbor as well as her daughter Shay. The two kids are attracted to each other right away, so Edward goes to see her and starts napping on her floor. This brings them closer together, and they become friends very quickly.

One of the most important parts of the story is that Edward has become famous because he was the only person to survive the collision of Flight 2977.
