Brian gets picked up by Rebecca after the argument and driven home, where he finds Piper awaiting him with the actual antidote. She altered the antidote, though, so that Jarrod could not use it.

He falls asleep and wakes up next to Senator Eddie Morra, who grants him access to NZT and a medication to counteract its harmful side effects in exchange for keeping the FBI in the dark.
FBI official Rebecca Harris offers Brian a job as a consultant with the Bureau because the FBI wants to learn who produced NZT and how to mitigate its ill effects.
Brian is adamant that they first assist in his father receiving an emergency liver transplant. Agent Harris has a personal motive for becoming involved in the the inquiry: she thinks her father may have been using NZT before to being discovered dead in a river.

The unsolved plotlines of “Limitless” may be addressed in a future second season. Brian could find himself in situations in the following season that pit him against powerful foes.
Eddie Morra’s ascension to power as a result of an effective Senate campaign might make Brian the target of many adversaries, especially in the political sphere.
Jarrod’s fate is still unknown despite Rebecca’s gunshot. Given the lack of conclusive evidence confirming his death, his return is feasible.
If a second season is announced, fans may be happy to see their favorite agents, Rebecca Harris & Spelman Boyle, return. Rebecca, Brian, & Spelman made constituted a captivating combination as a dynamic three, with Brian & Rebecca building a strong bond.
NZT medications, however, may become less important as a result of Brian’s total tolerance to their adverse effects. Additionally, Eddie’s power over the NZT supply shortage may force this plot to a logical conclusion.
