Rap Sh!t Season 3 Storyline:

In the comedy “Rap Sh!t,” former best friends Shawna and Mia, both from Miami, get back together to create a rap group after a long separation. Shawna and Mia are at a crossroads in their careers as rap artists, debating whether to remain authentic or give in to the pressures of the business.

A power struggle between Reina’s producer Francois Boom (Jaboukie Young-White) and Shawna and Mia’s inept manager Chastity (Jonica Booth) is building as a result of the duo’s unwillingness to take center stage. Success isn’t going to have a map etched into stone.

The new season starts up immediately after the end of the last one, with Shawna now a suspect in the fraud investigation at the upscale Plymouth Hotel in South Beach.

Even though she and her lover/coworker Maurice (Daniel Augustin) remain in and out, Shawna’s enthusiasm for the tour has been dampened by their mutual mistrust and the rapidly escalating inquiry.

And Mia can’t even enjoy this new phase of her life without having to cope with her mother’s (Bobbi Baker) alcoholic tantrums or her daughter’s (RJ Cyler) uncomfortable interactions with her father.

After years apart, Mia and Shawna got back together in the first season of Rap Sh!t to establish a rap group. Although the two pals first disagreed on how their music should go, they were able to settle on a style that pleased them both. They put out a couple songs that were internet sensations, and soon they were well-known among hip-hop fans in Miami.

However, Mia and Shawna’s triumph came at a price. They had to cope with the demands of the music business, the sexism that is endemic in hip-hop, or their own personal troubles. Mia was suffering with the horror of her past, while Shawna was having trouble in establishing a connection with her lover Cliff.

Mia & Shawna were bound and determined to strike it big in the music business, regardless of the obstacles they encountered. The success of the music clip for the song “Seductive” was a fitting way to round up Season 1.

Mia witnesses Lamont flaunting his fresh watch on Instagram during her third job. Shawna gets permission from her friend Jill (Amandla Jahava) to send the “Seduce and Scheme” video to Spotify’s executives.

Mia is annoyed that Shawna only desires to rap about social topics when the two of them get together to make more music. Mia thinks that women shouldn’t restrict what they rap around to avoid criticism, while Shawna argues that recording songs about sex & partying plays into patriarchy.

In Cliff’s “Seduce and Scheme” video, Mia is mentioned, and Cliff’s roommates know her from her Only Fans page. While denying that Fatima has a thing on him, Cliff warns Shawna to avoid Mia.

Lamont sends Mia a large sum of money as a complete surprise. After many takes, Mia and Shawna were able to record a full-length rendition of “Seduce & Scheme.” Eventually, Shawna and Cliff make up.

Some of Chastity (Jonica Booth)’s sex workers have been robbed, and she hasn’t been paid for her efforts advertising parties for Guapdad 4000. While Lamont is keeping an eye on Melissa, he has his automobile repossessed and decides to sell it for a profit.

He tries to make ends meet by selling jewelry and pursuing unpaid debts from musicians he worked with in the past. After hearing “Seduce and Scheme,” Mia decided to get Lamont to create the song for her.

Maurice, played by Daniel Augustin, makes a luxury buy using a credit card stolen from a hotel guest played by Shawna. Mia is asked whether she may take charge of the group by Chastity.

The Rap Sh!t season 3 plot will all rely on how the third season plays out. In the first season, Shawna was a poor rapper who works at a hotel, and Mia Knight was a single parent working various jobs to support herself & her child, who was also a rapper in Miami.

They joined together as a rap duo in Miami and quickly found success there. The following season saw them finally gain success, but then they learned that it was tougher to remain at the top & stay loyal to their beliefs than it was to get here. If season 2 of Rap Sh!t goes as planned, then season 3 should have them encountering even more difficulties.

Mia is having trouble making a name for herself in the rap industry because she believes that listeners see her as a joke. Shawna is another issue since she is a single parent to her daughter Deja and she would do everything to make it big.

Mia and Shawna endure several challenges during the course of the year, but they don’t stop battling for their aspirations. The result is a recording deal and a slot at one of the world’s largest music festivals, Rolling Loud. The season 2 finals competition ended with no clear victor.
