Robert Pattinson, Lily Collins and Ewan McGregor on the front line to save India

GoCampaign ambassadors Robert pattinson, Lily Collins e Ewan McGregor helped to announce the organization's new fundraising initiative to provide aid to India in these terrible days of crisis due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The organization's COVID Relief Fund will provide medical services and food to families in need, daily health checks, home education for children, access to vaccinations and much more.

"India is facing a devastating second wave of COVID-19 and their healthcare system doesn't have enough resources to care for everyone", Lily Collins said, urging supporters to donate. "They are in dire need of protective equipment, oxygen, medicine and food to save lives. I have such beautiful memories of the time I spent in India and the country will always have such a special place in my heart".

Friday, India reported the largest daily spike in new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total of new cases for the week to 1.57 million, with more than 21 million total coronavirus infections. Reports indicate that of these only 3.5 million people are actively being treated for COVID-19, as the growing number of cases is engulfing the country's health system and devastating the population. "As COVID rages in India, GoCampaign needs your help to provide food, medicine and resuscitators to those who need them"Star Wars fan favorite Ewan McGregor said."Any amount can make a difference and can help save lives".

For the past eight years, GoCampaign has partnered with grassroots organizations including Dharavi Diary, Red Brigade and Bal Ashram Trust to provide support to India. The organization has set itself the goal of raising $ 250,000 from individual donors within the next two weeks.
