The last few years have been very difficult for Angelina Jolie but, it seems her work helped her heal. In particular, in a recent interview, the actress revealed that with Those Who Wish Me Dead she managed to defeat some demons that haunted her.
Angelina Jolie admitted that the character Hannah Faber allowed him to get in touch with herself and also to deal with the personal problems arising from the complex moment following the divorce with Brad Pitt.
“I’ve always liked playing characters who have gone through complicated moments and then find their way. This film was a very healing experience for me. Only if you break so badly and then get up can you figure out how to play the part. Hannah Faber is a person destroyed by feelings of guilt. ”
The actress then added that with many difficulties, he’s trying to get his family back on track, still very much tried by the events of recent years. Angelina Jolie has in fact admitted that she left her ex-husband for the sake of her children, and only after the various legal issues are resolved, will she finally be able to return to work as a director for new productions.
“The last few years have been pretty tough. I’ve been focusing on healing our family. It’s slowly coming back to life again.”
