While in the next Thor: Love and Thunder Jane Foster will be able to lift Mjolnir, the first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe dedicated to the God of Thunder has just turned ten. Thor, directed by Kenneth Branagh, was in fact released in theaters in April 2011. The protagonist Chris Hemsworth could not help but celebrate the event.
For the occasion, the actor and his colleague Tom Hiddleston, who started the countdown for Loki, also took a pebble from their shoe against the press.
As we can also see at the bottom of the news, in fact, Chris Hemsworth posted on his Instagram profile a photo from the time of the former Thor together with Tom Hiddleston, in which the two are presumably intent on studying the script, together with another in which Vulture reports the news of their engagement for the film, defining them in practice “two complete strangers”.
In 2009, according to what we read, for the roles of Thor and Loki the names of Shia LaBeouf and Josh Hartnett, while the site hoped that the money saved by hiring two less than prominent actors would be reinvested by Marvel Studios in the special effects.
“This year marks the 10th anniversary of THOR, when two unknown boys received the keys to the kingdom “ Chris Hemsworth writes in the caption. “It’s been a great trip and we clearly haven’t aged a day.”
